What should be checked before selecting gas generation equipment?

Confirm gas composition, pressure, temperature, contaminants, supply continuity, metering, delivery route, backup strategy and the generation duty. Equipment selection should follow the verified fuel envelope.

Why combine gas generation with solar or batteries?

Hybridisation can reduce variable energy cost, improve operating flexibility or support generator loading. The value depends on the load profile, control strategy and the cost of each energy source.

Can a project start on another fuel and transition to gas later?

It can, if the first-phase architecture preserves the electrical, control and site interfaces needed for the later fuel transition. The development plan should make those assumptions explicit.
